Reflection

I thought we might get things started with a little reflection. In one way or another we all remember witnessing this event, or do we?

Do you remember where you were on April 20, 1999? How did you hear about the Columbine massacre? What were your initial thoughts? (Thank you Oprah)

A new year a new book.

As you can see we have quite a few suggestions for our first read (listed on the right). I think I have listed all of them. Please let me know if I missed any and I will add them to the list. It would be great if we could make a decision by the first.

I would like to go ahead and set the date for our discussion now. This way we can put it on our calendars. I am looking at the 28th of October. I will hold off on the location until we determine what book(s) we will read.

Remember, if we have interest in more than one book we can get a couple groups going. If you haven't joined in, make sure that you become a contributor. We want to hear from you!
